Yung-Tuan Ku (TW/NL), percussionist, sound collector, performer and theater maker.
She received her classical percussion master degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with cum laude in 2015. After graduation, she was invited for the artist in residency program (2016-2018) at Studio MAPA Nederland where she developed as performer and theater maker.
She intertwines percussion and mime in her creation. Humor and imagination are the key elements of her work. She likes to surprise audience with an unexpected twist.
Yung-Tuan co-creates and performs in theater productions Geel (Mimewave), Stapel (Frisse Oren), Hans&Griet (Silbersee and Toneel Makerij) and Boom (Plan-D).
